My Grandparent’s House

It isn’t there now. A window factory looms where it once stood. It was a very nice house though, when it existed, my grandparent’s house. It wasn’t in the best of locations, nestled against the M6, opposite a tyre factory, but the rooms went together in a pleasing way. The outside was nice. There were three huge beech trees in the back garden. They are gone now too.

People need windows though, I suppose. We’ve all got them.
