Do you buy yourself a Christmas present? I do. Why not, eh? When you get to my age, Santa has long forgotten you. May as well treat yourself. It’s Christmas after all.
This year I have bought myself Saga Compendium One, 1400 pages of Brian K. Vaughn and Fiona Staples genius in one tidy package. Christmas afternoon, I will be sat on a sofa with a glass of something nice and a massive comic. Merry Christmas, me.
Saga Compendium One collects the first nine volumes of Saga. This means I no longer need the first volume of Saga, which was part of my Christmas present last year (though not from myself, now that I think about it, not that that is frightfully important at this point in the paragraph). And so, I am putting it in the box with the rest of the prize, which is actually starting to look pretty good now.
