Vegan-ish-anuary. Part Two.

I was doing so well. I was. I had a Greggs vegan steak bake and everything. I had a M&S no tuna mayonnaise sandwich and everything. But then I found a packet of bratwurst behind the yoghurts in the fridge.

I was left with a moral dilemma – eat the meat, and thus fail the challenge already, or throw the sausages in the bin. Reader, I ate the sausages. It seemed more of an insult to the pig to waste the food than to eat it. I don’t know if it was the right decision or not but it’s done now.

Anyway, spoiler alert, this whole cut-out-the-meat month was always intended to be a start of a cut-down-the-meat life so if I only eat meat once in a month that won’t be too awful, I suppose.

You know what they say – if you fall off a horse you need to get back on the horse ps don’t eat the horse.

Let’s see how it goes next week.
